Slayer pirates vs regular slayers
Enjoying the game since the updates and I'm doing quite a few dwarf campaigns, with Ungrim I like to go with slayer themed armies and I'm looking to get a few tips to work on my legendary campaigns with him as I find those a bit harder to deal with.

First of all I'm noticing often my slayer pirates will get more kills over all than my regular slayers, I figured with the higher weapon strength damage and armor piercing their only good use is against flying units so I built my army around a main body of regular slayers with some pirates to kill fliers and rain hell on flanks, should I actually do the opposite?

Secondly the doomseekers, when should I invest in these? how many should I get? is there any way to reduce the recruit time from 2 to 1 at some point?

Lastly, should I replace all regular slayers with giant slayers at some point?

pirates have a bit less attack and such, but good missile armor damage, doomseekers are good shock infantry, since when they fight long enough you can use their ability to do a whirlwind. And eh, its up to you if you want to replace slayers with giantslayers, since they both still have anti-large. But back to the start. its good to have a few missile pirates for a slayer army, and with doomseekers, 3-4 make a good number

Alright so doomseekers and pirates should be the main bulk of the army, I also like to keep some Gyro copter units 4 or so in order to wipe out ranged/artillery units before they can hit my slayers, and a few giant/regular slayers to do their thing on large/heavily armored enemies.

Also do you bother building to get rune smiths more? I figure their armor and other buff abilities are very nice for slayers but I just found trying to keep their recruitment up a pain.
