Looking for guide to best one-man doomstack
Ive just attempted to doomstack with Tamurkhan, but i felt like it didnt scratch the itch.
Ive farmed a couple legendary lords, some of those being archaon, throgg, malus, kholek, wulfrik and ungrim.
I also have maxed out nemesis crown, with weapon strength at 703, health at 10k, 95 armor and 70 defense.
However im new to one-man doomstacks so idk how to get the better stats.
Tamurkhan is a big target and i find myself constantly getting blasted by missiles, or unexpected heavy amounts of damage taken, even though i have active regeneration.
Now at turn 100, i give up. Im just not pleased with the current situation, and im looking for something new.
Who is the best legendary lord for doomstacks, and what is the best way of getting very high stats, like ward save and weapon strength?

Why not try Morghur, or Imrik?

Yeah Tamurkhan isn't a good lord for that kind of build. Like you said he's a really big target. Enemy archers may be only doing 2 damage a shot, but that stacks up faster than you'd think when focused.

Malus, Vlad, Archaon, Taurox, Skarbrand, Tyrion, Zhao Ming/Miao Ying and Grimgore are popular choices. Basically any strong melee fighter that is either a small target or a fast medium-sized target.

You want to steal the Sword of Khaine from the High Elves, as well as the Nemesis Crown. Beyond that just stack as much Wardsave as possible and go around hunting the legendary lords with good traits. You can look them up with google easily enough.

If it's a flying lord, without other units on the ground, you're forced to either land or forfeit the battle.

Most of my choices would be flying lords, so it wouldn't be a 'one man' army, as you'd need units on the ground to prevent forfeiting the battle.
However the ground units can just hide in trees and not participate.

Azazel
Bel'Akor
Imrik
Kairos
Valkia

Go for Sword of Khaine. Maybe save scum some item fuzing until you get Talisman of Preservation (unless the LL's unique Talisman is better).

As StrangeEcho said, hunt down LL's that give good defeat traits.

LegendofTotalWar has a series called something like 'Rate my one man doomstack', which might give you some idea/inspiration.

The standard generic Vampire lords on a zombie dragon are the best 1 man army when all maxxed out. if you get one with the tough trait to start and farm a bunch of defeat traits they can have like 150+ armor and over 100 melee attack and melee defence with good gear easily and they have melee abilities and powerful magic. They can heal themselves and do winds of death which is extremely OP... they got tons of regeneration and they can summon a bunch of zombie units to help them when they arent instakilling blobs with winds of death. They can even kite other flying lords with a slow spell and they can increase their own speed as well with a spell so can kite anyone. You just gotta land and fight on the ground on occasion to prevent the no landed units debuff if you run out of personal summons.

Using all their abilities and magic along with the zombie dragon and a good set of gear and a bunch of defeat traits make them nigh unkillabeby the AI.

Any legendary lord having access to both melee upgrades and lore of magic are good choices for it, even generics lords as said fade7777

This is pretty much how I feel about HE Archmage of Life on Moon Dragon. Can heal herself and has good damage from spells, dragon breath, bound spells etc.
She's missing the melee skill line but can still get pretty decent melee stats with the right traits & gear.

+Extra 10% ward save if you're playing Teclis' faction. Bringing her to 20% ward save before any gear.
