Not to mention if you get the 3 stacks required to win an auto resolve against his stack, he can outrun you it seems and constantly sack settlements and you can never catch his army to initiate an attack
Yep, my normal difficulty campaign is really tedious now as he is my border neighbor. I do not remember any other lord giving me this much head ache in warhammer 1 or 2.
Not doubting that in typical new dlc fashion he's absolutely busted tho, know they already doubled back on his absurd defeat trait
+1 I've never had trouble with him. Usually Kholek weakens him enough, but even if he doesn't, by the point of the game where he becomes a threat you should have a doomstack of your own.
Then it's Nurgle so if he can setup a good empire he'll instaspam powerful armies with the summon + chieftain recruitment
...Did I mention I'm never comfortable playing cavalery ?
All WoC factions have pretty much same potential as Tamurkan.
All od them are very stromg when left alone to develop.
Power creep is real and in hands of players they are absolutelly too strong.
AI is not all that smart though and can be dealt with.
Empire and dwarfs can counter their armies pretty hard. Go amrour piercing missiles and artillery and buff them up as much as you can through lord and hero skills.
Fighting Warriors of chaos in melee means huge casulties even if you win. You want to avoid that with most factions.
But they have very little ranged options and capabilities.
