Siege pathfinding - difficulty going through open gate.
Love all the content.

Please consider fixing the pathfinding during sieges.

It's often a liability bringing a siege tower to a fight because once the gate is opened they prefer taking the tower instead of a clear path inside and it's very difficult to walk them in.

Unfortunately this part of the game is still flawed like it was years ago! My soldiers won't go through an open gate.

A siege tower is just as effective as a open gate, there is little reason to use one over the other (unless they don't lead to the same place or something).

Ladders are way worse :P (Using them makes troops tired).

If you hold down Shift, you can use the right mouse button to draw a path directly through the gate (or wall breach) for the selected unit, which it should follow 100% of the time. You have to do this for each unit individually, but it (just) works. Pathfinding is nevertheless awful during sieges and will probably stay that way, unfortunately.

You build siege towers?
Troops will spread out over multiple breaches if any to avoid congestion which slows them down.

It works as intended even if a bit annoying :).
