Zero unusual locations
This is bug or I doing something wrong?

It's random and locations can appear long after acquiring territory

Got one with Gelt at turn 3-4 in Cathay.
A slaanesh one, and I don't care because I'll moving to old continent soil when I get tha chance.

Turn six and I've none.

I had one or two by then. Probably just the RNG gods. If it's a pre-patch campaign they may not show up at all.

I've had one campaign with nothing in 60+ turns and then two back to back in another so it does seem rather random. Who new there would be a dwarf mining outpost in Lothern

I played as the lady of the lake and got 10 of them around turn 70 and have recently played 3 other campaigns also around turn 70 and in 2 of them I got 1 unusual location

If it's the same one I got eventually it gave me a purple item.

I've seen quite a few. I also saw some things I didn't see in the notes, granted I just skimmed them. I got a purple item, some bottle of wine as a random event, and 2 of my lords got "assassin training" as Empire.

I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to be looking for, I've had two campaigns, combined maybe 150 turns or so, haven't seen anything notable.

It'll tell you when you have location discovered.

You will get a random popup saying where it was discovered. This then adds a new tab next to the settlement similar to a cult or skaven undercity. I accidently destroyed a couple of them when trying to destroy a cult.

i got 4 in my empire run, around 30 turn in, Cult of Shallya (like this one the best, 10% to replenishment factionwide) , Lost Dawrf Mining Company, Cult of the Exquisite Cadaver, Cult of Haendryk,

I'm curious how faction depended they are. The grail knight grave is bonkers for one-man doomstacks (blessing of lady for any lord, 15% ward save until broken), but I'm wondering if non-order factions can get it at all (which honestly I hope they can't, since it doesn't make any sense lorewise).

But yeah, in my malakai campaign I got around 5 of them by turn 50, but after that nothing from the next 40. Heavily rng.
