Co-op Quest Battle Cutscene Crash Black Screen

Me and my brother just bought the game 2 days ago and played through our first game. I saw a Blue Quest thing for my High Elves mission and decided to battle it. Everytime I load into the game with my brother joining in the battle as a defender or spectator. From his side, he always crashes and get black screen into the intro of the starting game of the cutscene. For me, I do not crash at all, and I also tested in singleplayer mode to see if the outcome would be the same, which it didn't. I asked my brother to do the same thing to create a solo game and see if he could do quest battle on his end without the Co-Op online mode. He stated that it was still the same outcome of crashing and blackscreen. Does anyone know how to fix the issue?

You may have some de-synch problems. Make sure you both have latest update.

We have universal solution by modding community to this. When CA was not being too energetic with fixing quest battles (AI problems, crashing problem etc), a lot people started using Autoresolve Quest Battles mod.

Works in multiplayer. Maybe that will allow you to bypass it. Write here after you test it, you both need to install it ofc.

yeah to this day, me and a friend STILL have crashing when we try to do a quest battle that has a cinematic, so we do indeed use that same mod to avoid that problem
