Why no Blood Dragon Vampire Count Lord?

I love the Blood Dragons in the lore and tabletop, and I just bought the Warhammer 3 game during the sale and I am sad that there is still no playable vampire lord from the Blood Dragons.

Is there a special reason we don't get a cool red Vampire Lord after all this time?

Well you have generic Lords you can hire via Blood Kisses. For Legendary Lords you will have to wait as Vampire Counts have not been updated since Vampire Coast back in the 2nd game.

Vampire Counts are in dire need of a rework/overhaul. They're not weak, but they're boring as hell and their vampire kiss mechanic is garbage. Also Heinrich Khemmler's start is trash due to a mistake made by CA. They should fix it.

Wait, no Blood Dragon playable lord? Like if I want to play as the Red Duke or Harkon? I think there is even a model of the Red Duke in the game.

Just a Vampire Lord that gives boni for Blood Knights and Grave Guards.

Otherwise we only only have Carstains and the two necromancers to chose from.

It would also be cool to have a Lahmia, a Strigoi, and a Necrach.

Like Zacharias is one of my favorite characters from the Vampire lore.

Like, there are many cool vampire characters with great stories and even a single lord would be amazing for the players who just don't want to play as a Carsteins.

I am looking forward to a Vampire Count update as well. In the meantime you can confederate the Red Duke and others, or hire the generic Lahamia, Strigoi, Necrach lords and rename them after famous lords.

I know I used some type of factors unlocker mod in previous total wars to play as the red duke, you could probably try that.
