Teclis & location
in Wh2 I used to enjoy Telics. He was a very enjoyable campaign for me. I enjoyed the freedom of moving north or east. I enjoyed picking and choosing my enemies.

Telic had an amazing campaign because there was already a "race war" - so to speak - going on in Lustria. You could pick the side you wanted or you could pick neither. It was genuinely fun ( to me at least ).

When they gave Telic a Phoenix, I felt the powercreep kick in. Why is a fragile magic user now a melee monster? I know we can just 'not use it' and I didn't.

In wh3, I despise Telicis's new starting position. I find it incredibly lacking. It's almost a abridged version of his old campaign.
I find crossing the southern waters to the lower chaos lands obnoxious and incredibly inconvenient. Inconvenient in the sense of wasting turns and doing nothing. It could have been any enemy faction down there; it's not as if I dislike fighting Khairos or other Tzeenchian enemies.

The campaign makes me feel tired I suppose? You fight rats, Krok'gor slaps them around for you. you fight Tzeentch and then what? you waddle north into the Southern Wastelands we've all done a hundred times.

For those who genuinely enjoy the new Teclis, would you kindly grant me some input?

As far as I know Teclis is incredibly unpopular. I really should try him pretty soon just to be able to make my own opinion but I legitimatly don't think I've ever picked him in either tww2 or 3 as of yet.

Yup, this is exactly his campaign.

Kairos and the other minor daemon factions to the south are your only real threats, and you deal with them very early and then you are left with either fighting an endless tide of lizards (but you're not really supposed to) or sailing off to distant lands.

I suppose you could sail east and visit kugath and friends. I might try thay next time.

I hate his campaign in WH3. At least oxyotl is cool because you can teleport all around the map. but the southern wastes suck.

use mods, you can't depend on CA/GW to get things right
this statement will confuse both nu-TW players and age of sh!tmar players alike
