Tzeentch gets.... reskins
We could have had a chaos dragon mount (already in game btw)
we could have had the flying citadel
we could have had the firewyrm
We could have had cultists that ACTUALLY MAKE CULTS
We could have had a changeling rework for IE so that his campaign isnt just a one and done
We could have had a Kairos rework... remember him... Kairos? The dude that has needed a rework since release?
We could have had more lores of magic.... you know... for the literal god of magic
We could have had changes for tzeentches awful cults and manifestations
Heck, CA could have gone all out and found some creative way to add the mirrors of madness spells in, one of those thing would be much better than boosting magic (something kairos already does in 3 other ways)

What did he get?
Reskined beastman and two reskinned chaos lords. Its a tzeentch DLC and tzeentch got NOTHING. A lord who's good for one single campaign and two monsters. Heck they couldnt even be bothered to fix the RoR vortex beast who's ability doesnt even work.

EDIT: apparently people cant read, chaos dragon is ALREADY IN THE GAME. I'm not asking for a reskin, I'm saying they could have easily just moved the unit over. And im not asking for reskined cultists, I'm saying they should be given the ability to make cults

OP probably didn't even read the news post, instead heard some influencer rambling conspiracy theories. Then felt like he immediately has to parrot those.

A halbard chosen with less armor and three heads
Yeah, I read it. And no, its not about some conspiracy theory or whatever. It's about this being a tzeentch themed DLC and tzeentch got shafted.
Tzeentch gets Mutalith Vortex Beasts, 2 LHs, the extremely strong Changeling, and now all the Melee options people were crying about.

That is FAR from getting shafted. In fact, Tzeentch is now the most complete and well rounded Chaos God faction, by a wide margin.
Hell, they are even giving him another Cavalry option!

Flying Citadel would make no sense for the kind of gameplay Tzeentch has, it is not a horde faction, it does not need a mobile Town.

Firewyrm of Tzeentch would be disappointing and redundant, when we already got the much better Mutalith Vortex Beast.

They are actually giving people what they most requested for Tzeentch: Chaos Lords and Exalted Heroes.

Only thing I do not agree on, is Centigors of Tzeentch, as Centigors are very Slaanesh inclined.
Cygors of Tzeentch would have made a lot more sense, specially because Cygors can only even see magic, not the real world, so it would be very thematic.

It absolutely would make sense for tzeentch. Heck it wouldnt even be that hard to do. a floating Diamond shaped building thing with teeth, eyes, and tongues. modders could do that.
No, it would not. People already complain Changeling is hard to get rid off, now imagine Kairos with a flying city, in the middle of the water, with a lot of land under him for resources, being able to attack wherever he pleases, while now also having the most complete roster out of any faction in the game.

Bane Towers are a Man-o-War unit, because they are a maritime warfare specific unit, and taht is something we are not even getting.

Tzeentchs issue was NEVER that he wasnt strong. Its that certain aspects of his play sucked. Changeling is widely regarded as being one and done, and for good reason. Kairos on the whole has an awful start, his cults sucked, half his manifestations were awful, and the god of magic himself has 3 lores of magic total.

The first part of this I wholly disagree with, and it could def work.
the man o war argument makes sense though. Thats more GW saying no than CA i guess

The only thing I agree is that Tzeentch should have options for every Wind of Magic, High Magic and Lore of Tzeentch.
It does not make sense that the God of Magic, does not have caster for every kind of common Lore of Magic.

modders already did do it, the flying towers are in the tzeentch GMD mod dulalinga made

I'm not surprised by the content offered and thought the reskin for their hero was at least a nice touch.

Not sure what you're trying to say.

1. Tzeentch in the live game does have no melee Lord or Hero, at all. The next patch adds two completely new character types, the Chaos Lord of Tzeentch and the Exalted Hero of Tzeentch.

2. Also, they are not reskins but completely new models.
For the record I am a fan of the changes and think they are much needed.

Calling a blue chaos lord and exalted hero two completely new character types is to my mind a bit of a stretch. Also calling single entity human sized character with various mount options that seem to mirror the Chaos Scorer Lord of Tzeentch completely new models is once again, IMO, a bit of a stretch. Do they look cool, yes, are they welcome in game, yes, are they totally new and unique models that CA built from the ground up? Not to my eyes.

Then oh well too bad but i'll be very happy to see each faction getting their own melee and magic exalted heroes

Guess they have bigger hearts than people give them credit for ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are you suggesting they added the new content out of their hearts and not because they had poor sales?

Call it "Class" or whatever you want. CA calls Lords and Heroes "character".

If you played Tzeentch before, you must have known that you only have the option to use the Sorcerors or the Herald / Iridescent Horror as characters. The melee Lords and Heroes simply don't exist in the roster.

WoC Tzeentch (Vilitch) can recruit their undivided versions, however the Lord can only ascend to a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch, which changes his role, requires level 30 and 10000 souls. And the Hero cannot ascend at all.

The coming Lord and Hero Tzeentch variants are de facto new, they also get their own skillset same like Nurgle, Khorne and Slaanesh already have.

And the models are also new.

"Reskin" means to take an existing model and use new textures. For example, the Regiments of Renown are usually reskins of their regular version. This is clearly not the case here.

The Chaos Lord of Tzeentch is shown with at least three different helmets, two shields, and at least one armor. These are all new assets.

The Exalted Hero... is a new model with three heads. New armor.
Someone said he's a reskinned Chosen? LoL. Are people blind? He doesn't even look similar in any way.

cool.... now try and make those same arguments for the purple beastman and the other unit thats just one existing unit on top of another

Did anyone actually believe that DLC would ever be worth it?

Except, you claimed "two reskinned lords" and Crusher disagree's with that.

1. For the Centigors there's just a blurry combat screenshot, and concept art. We'll see when the update goes live. But it likely is a new model same like the Tzaangors.

2. Can't say about the Changebringers. If these are identical to their infantry versions in the tabletop game, i'd expect them to look very very similar in the game as well.

3. Fun fact - it is you claiming it was a reskin, so you have to prove that. Nobody else.

SoC is currently the best selling DLC for WH3:

Ogre Kingdoms - #2541
Champions of Chaos - #1205
Chaos Dwarfs - #790
Shadows of Change - #295
