Eh I like his animations.
We don't know the release date yet. When they gave us the April date they stressed that it was just a ambition and not set in stone. CA's own store used to say April 30'th, but its been changed to "coming soon". To me that sounds like a delay and we will get it in May.
It's been like this in WH2 as well. Skaven got a huge overhaul while Lizardmen got a new mechanic in prophet and the warlock etc.
I hope so, would be great.
I'm hoping modders can redesign him and make him look more unique.
It's pretty accurate to his table top model, but I agree it is kind of generic looking. What made the model stand out was Bubebolos his toad dragon. Which in my opinion does the same in WH3 as well. Seeing him on Bubebolos is way cooler than on foot, but as we know he won't have unique animation when mounted only when he is on foot. And Bubebolos probably shares animation with the regular unit version, but they still look cool regardless.
