ranged has always been the issue. if you can not handle large with nurgle, that's a skill issue
Shooters? Nurgle has no missile infantry?
I wish Nurgle stayed as slow as before, but more tanky...
It gives him so much more identity than "every faction in the game".
This. Completely this.
As Nurgle, facing ranged units is a complete pain because most of your units are slower, and you lack ranged of your own.
Large is not tough to cope with... you regenerate health and have lots of tank-ish units with high HP, so you just bog down the large and hack away while knowing your units will wear them down.
But good grief is ranged damage a pain... Kislev, Wood Elves, and a few others will just shower you with ranged damage and there's little recourse other than to endure and press on. Ranged fire damage in particular just shreds some of your units as Nurgle.
