Bundle where and what?
Hi i just checked the Warhammer franchise and realized that if i want to have all from WH 1 to 3 it's about 631,- Euro (incl. DLC's). Thats a bit steep to enter the Warhammer universe, even for me. ;-)

So i looked for some "bundles" maybe start with the first "complete Edition" or something, but where?

I see thread that talk about bundles but on Steam i can't find any, maybe i am blind or not using the correct search terms, someone help me out here? :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Wait for sales and get things piece by piece, everything is ingame for AI and get the stuff u really like and with so many factions not all fits everyone. My guess when the next DLC will launch at the end of april there will be some % off the older stuff or look at reliable keyseller for even more discount. But dont get preassured to buy everything from more then 8 years in a heartbeat----that could be content for thousands of hours

Looking at the combined price for the trilogy is like walking into a restaurant, adding up the total price of everything on the menu, then saying "that's a bit of a steep price for a meal".

There are no bundles. The recent talk about bundles is to do with the subdivision of the upcoming DLC CA are experimenting with. Either the full DLC with 3 LLs for one price, or the three lords as individual products at a lower price each (but totalling more if all three are bought).

If you're looking to get in on the action, start by just buying TWW3. If you're uncertain as to whether you want it or not, maybe wait on a sale price. DLC can come later if you think something else looks cool (all DLC content is present in game under AI control, regardless of whether you own the requisite DLC or not).

To use my earlier analogy, go try out the new restaurant. If you like the food on the first visit, maybe go back and try out other items on the menu that look appealing next time. At no point is it a good idea to just go and order every dish at once.

@raynay Yeah, i put every Series on the Wishlist for now and hope they make a Warhammer sale (or Summer, Winter sale etc.).

I was just wondering about what bundle ppl are talking. You know whats that about?
(Nevermind, DarkFenix just replied about that).

Oh, and cool that there will be a new DLC, i did not know about that. :selike:

@DarkFenix Well, that sound like a valid strategy. ;-)

Another question, is it true that some content from WH1 and WH2 will be sort of crossover available in WH3. I read something like that and did not fully understand how that works or if its even true.

:lunar2019laughingpig: Oh no, Jeff again. That sounds like a good deal, but worshipping any other god then Lord Gaben would be heresy for me. :devilskiss:

Start with Warhammer 3. Plenty of Lords and units to play with. Then the best thing to do is get the 1st game on sale as it's cheap and you get to play as the 4 main races in that (Empire, Dwarves, Green Skins and Vampire Counts), then get the 2nd game on sale for another 4 races.
Then just decide where you want to go, personally I found the Wood Elves really fun but I found the Vampire Pirates boring.
I now have all the DLC and still mostly play Empire, High Elves, Wood Elves and Dwarfs. I virtually never play Tomb Kings, Norsca, Vampire Pirates, Chaos factions, Ogres or Cathey. So don't be in a rush to get all the DLC.

Yes, it's true. Each game(1, 2 and 3) has its own campaign map for races that each piece of the trilogy has introduced. In addition to that, game 3 has the Immortal Empires campaign that combines the playable maps of all three games into one huge map where you can play as any race from all 3 games.

Using parallels to the real world, imagine it like this: Game 1's playable map is only Europe with little bits of Middle-East and North Africa. Game 2 adds the African continent entirely as well as both the American continents. Then Game 3 adds the entirety of Asia on the map.

Allright guys, i think i made up my mind. I'll get the basegames first and then when the sales happen i look out to get some of the DLC's (maybe not all, but we'll see).

Thanks for all the information. :p2cube:

The bundles are only available during sale events.

Yes, if possible grab the trilogy bundle (it’s a physical edition so it’s not easy to get depending on your location). But depending on what races and factions you’re interested in it’s not necessary.

Whatever you decide to get, make sure game 3 is your first purchase if you're interested in the Immortal Empires(usually abbreviated as IE) campaign. Game 3 unlocks the campaign while the others just add to it.

make sure to get any dlc on the same platform (steam is where you got it) I am pretty sure it won't work otherwise.
