Basically you can still buy all 3 as a bundle just like all former dlcs or you can buy the factions individually so you don't have to waste money on factions you wouldn't play as at all.
People were complaining about the price, so You can buy just part of DLC instead of whole DLC
This.
It's been split up as a way to try and get more sales by making it a more attractive option for consumers who only want to buy part of the DLC.
If they keep going down this path, future DLC might have distinct names for each 'segment', and essentially be standalone packs that are released simultaneously.
Y'all straight up gave up on the boycott right as it was swinging in your favor. But instead of sticking with it yall went "ooh, 8 whole units" and went with it.
and fair is 8 units, most of which are reskins, being added. and not even updating the factions that need updates. got it.
Didn't realize that asking CA to fix their factions for the low low price of half the cost of the freaking game was basically telling them to "suck my ♥♥♥♥"
Second, no faction needs to be fixed. Almost all of them could be improved. Ever asked how a faction should be improved here? There's plenty of ideas and zero consensus.
But really, what is your end game? Should we boycott until CA pulls the plug and SEGA pulls the plug on them? You're not going to get everything you want, and neither am I. There is zero chance the AI gets improved during the lifespan of this game, and that is what it needs most of all.
At some point you need to compromise or move on.
I personally dont care if they dropped it after the next patch. If the next patch would address campaign ai, pathdinding, sieges, and maybe smarten up the battle ai ig.
Apply that complaint to basically every faction at every angle
So now they save money
This.
