The thing about changing dlc structure would presumably invalidate the existing road map

so they still think they can charge north of 20 euro for their dlc's, and then proceeds to overcharge even more, for the people who will buy the cut up packs

eh, im done with buying directly on steam, CA doesn't deserve the full cut

It's discounted if you're buying them later though so it should come out to the same at the end

Buying individual lord packs is awesome. Been wanting this since game 2.

TL;DR: The actual ToD reveal is next week, this is an update about how they're going to sell it (as a single pack or each faction's content individually).

its still almost the same as Shadows of greed DLC, they didn't learn a damn thing

and no, we don't know the content yet, but i would not at all be surprised if it follows the pre-outrage amount, that shadows had

Sounds like it's a one off, again annoyingly on a pack I like all three races in. Maybe the popularity of the three races meant it was a safe bet, relatively speaking?
We’re already deep into pre-production on our future DLC post-Thrones of Decay, and the current intent is to avoid creating something quite so big in scope so that we can help to keep both the value, and the price right for you.

By this quote it seems that CA isn't going to make lord packs like SoC & ToD anymore. I'm guessing this means they are going back to the WH2 style lord packs with a 1v1. I wonder if they're doing this because their marketing team realized they sell better or if they can make 1v1 dlcs faster than 1v1v1. I guess 1v1 lord packs would be cheaper to produce and with the recent layoffs they probably got a reduce budget to work with.

The stated reason for the ToD delay was to add more content to it. The whole SoC update spiel was that they were going to make future DLC more robust to justify the higher price.

Then hold off on the condemnations until the thing you're condemning actually happens. Otherwise, you look like you just want something to be mad about.
