You are likely still going to get a couple of enemy factions that attack you and send several stacks (that is normal, more or less, depends a bit on the faction you are playing), but not all of them at the same time.
after all that you can even auto resolve everything safely.
diplomacy a bit important too like others said, potentially reducing number of fronts makes lotta difference. even for a limited time.
Just be sure to adjust the AI stat modifier to 0% (it's maxed by default when you pick vh Battle difficulty), otherwise Is Just masochism.
did you really not expect the git gud comment as you hit enter?
I've always hated the AI battle stat modifiers. Before we had this slider, I used to just set battle difficulty to "normal". Having your top titty elite infantry rout 1v1 against the enemy's basic line holder because of the absurd buffs they get from the AI ruins the immersion and requires you to cheese them in return.
Sadly, we do not has Hotseat Mode yet, but I fink der is a mod dat removes anti-player bias.
Doh, I personally find dat dat makes le game kinda borin’.
Find it hard.
I mean... that checks out.
But you can be more specific about your issue. And maybe people can give you something more then "git gud".
