Have you played any modern game without problems and at what settings?
Texture quality high, most everything else is medium, only sharpening and proximity fading checked, 1920x1080. Other most modern game I play is Europa Universalis 4 and off the top of me head I couldn't tell you the settings for that.
Yeah appreciate that but was only really looking for fairly general answers, didn't want anyone to have to think to hard on my behalf, but: card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 w/ 2995mb video memory (from the WHII settings screen). Poor laptop gamer womp womp.
Thank you both for your time :)
Initially I played on a i5-3570 and a GTX660.
It was at minimum settings with like sub30 FPS IIRC, but it "plays".
Possibly a little better than your outcome (though that may depend on other factors; CPU, RAM, laptop thermals etc) but the 1050 mobiles generally run 10-15% better than the 660.
It looks about right up against the math/numbers re experience with specs I've had anyway, which I won't bore anybody with here.
Worth a try for OP anyway, two hours to figure out tweaks via benchmarks etc and a refund if no good. The only thing I'd be concerned about is if battle fps is 30, how much lower will the campaign fps be? Playing the game on anything else, the campaign fps was half to two thirds that of the battles at best, which can still lag some on better specs. More recent patching/drivers might have optimised that somewhat though (couldn't say for sure as I haven't played in a while)
Quite rare these days.
(And with you there! Bring back demos!)
and quite frankly i am not happy. I have a big decent rig and found sweet spots with those options with graphics ettings that no longer exist
and NOW it looks like ♥♥♥♥ and still runs like ♥♥♥♥ cause there have been no graphical improvements
i do know they are gonna lose long game if they keep pulling dumb crap
ive been playing since i was 10 and i am 33 now
we sick of this ♥♥♥♥. Indie developers are doing better.
