What are Outposts and why are my allies building them in my cities?

Havent played in a while and i dont know what that does.

Your allies will build them. It adds a few of their troops to your garrison and lets them recruit some of your units. You get the same benefits when you build an outpost in their city.

It allows them to recruit units that you can recruit in that province for alliance points and give the city they built the outpost in a few garrison units.

[Rezonus]

Outpost lets you recruit a limited amount of there units into your army.

Some outposts / combos also have special features. Example

- High Elves get influence per turn

- Norsca gets recruitment slots and something around +50% income, if the outpost is in a port city and from a WoC overlord
