62,523 currently ingame. There's only 2 warhammer 2 dlc that had a higher peak.
So far there's around 5k less then the Twisted and the Twilight and the only dlc period that actually had a higher increase was a Greenskin update.
Where do you get this weird idea? Sega was the one who ordered and therefor has to pay for Hyena's. Sega has many more sources of income other then the Total War community, you do understand?
They also don't have any major releases at all this year except maybe sonic which doesn't even have a release date. So DLC is where they will recoup their losses.

Oh yes. Jet Set radio remake, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Crazy taxi etc. All long time fan favorites. No major releases. No sir. Just Sonic.
Yes a bunch of remakes to look forward too. And of all the the projects you have mentioned, not one of them has had a huge price hike. Not the case in the WH3 DLC and they released less content until fans complained. Now maybe if they cut half the content of the remakes and double the price then I will wholeheartedly agree with you.
