It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of regret that we must announce the cancellation of the much-anticipated DLC, Thrones of Decay, for our esteemed title. Furthermore, we must also inform you of the closure of Creative Assembly as a studio.

This decision has not been made lightly. We have poured our hearts and souls into the development of Thrones of Decay, striving to deliver an experience that would elevate the gameplay and storytelling you have come to expect from us. However, due to unforeseen circumstances and challenges beyond our control, we find ourselves unable to proceed with the release of this expansion.

We understand the disappointment and frustration this news may bring to our dedicated community. Please know that this decision was made after careful consideration of all available options. Our utmost priority has always been to deliver high-quality content that meets the expectations of our players, and we feel that proceeding with the release of Thrones of Decay

would not meet those standards.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to our loyal fans, whose unwavering support has been the driving force behind Creative Assembly for many years. It has been an incredible journey, filled with unforgettable moments and achievements, and we are immensely proud of what we have accomplished together.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the current landscape presents challenges that we are unable to overcome. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of Creative Assembly as a studio.

We want to thank each and every member of our talented team for their hard work, dedication, and passion. It has been an honor to work alongside such incredibly talented individuals, and we are grateful for the contributions they have made to our games and our community.

While this may be the end of Creative Assembly as we know it, we hope that the legacy of our games will live on in the hearts and minds of our players for years to come.
