The Empire has nothing to do with the 3rd Reich.
The Empire's based off the Early Modern period, 17th century.

Several factions aren't based off any particular nation at all, let alone post modern culture-less scat holes like America. They're based off folk tale, myth, and themes from the Western Esoteric tradition.
You guys even crapped the bed on the Lizardmen, which are based on Mesoamerican lore, not a loose idea of 'native americans'.

The sooner this franchise shifts to 40k the better. Max profit for CA and minimal neural activity for their target whales.

:empirecross::empirecross::empirecross::sdcap: What's with the iron crosses then? It's a known nazi symbol.
because something looks like "nazi symbol" do not means it's a nazi

Savage Orcs are inspired by some of the negative portrayals of tribal groups, especially the idea of "magic warpaint", but they don't take anything from real world cultures.

I think it is a play on the concept of Football Tribalism - the idea of large groups coming together all to be part of a greater whole, the mass energy of stadium full of fans all screaming the same thing.

Even the concept of the Waagh can be seen as more fans rallying to support a team that is doing well, only to drift away as soon as the team starts to fumble

Interesting.

Elfs in Viking old lore were not the most humble beings.

You do realize savage Orcs are more akin to those football hooligans that paint their faces and go shirtless?
I suppose we are all avoiding the Bible. So, gonna take a chance and say Atlanteans were some kind of hybrid of Nephilim and God sunk them : D

Fossils don't lie about sudden decisions by the Almighty.

No dummy, don't you realize all the orks speak in a cockney accent, just like the tribes of Cockney in Africa? Surely there wouldn't be any tongue in cheek depictions of members of a "civilized" society.

/s obviously
Dawi are USA. Hear me out. Guns, booze, beards... and if you touch a Dawi's stuff, you're getting a grudgin'. Any one know what happens when someone touches America's boats... every time?

Yeah, well. Savage orcs wear no football paint, savage orcs paint themselves with tribal paintings.
