Increase fealty of the Ketzak Fimdirach in Realms of Chaos
The Kwisatz Haderach Ketzak Fimdirach hero that Tamurkhan can get says he'll increase in fealty whenever I research a tech or defeat any elf race in battle. Well, 25 techs may take longer than this campaign, and the only elves I know of on the RoC map are long ways down south in the Empire (and they aren't likely to take too many defeats to wipe out).

Is there a better way to increase this lizard al gaib's fealty in RoC, or is he just not a hero I should pick in that campaign?

There are events that occur once in a while that give +5 to fealty. I've gotten it twice for this character and I'm on turn 40, but maybe I'm just lucky.

Keep an eye out for these events and be sure to prioritize this chieftain. I could tell this guy was going to be the hardest to level myself when I first started playing.

In hindsight, what a player should do is "save up" techs before you purchase this chieftain. Get your tech to 1 turn then research something else while you save up dominance to unlock this guy.

Nurgle is strong now, you don't really need any tech right away aside from the growth one to get your cities growing ASAP.

^That's a good idea on the techs. Thanks!

You could just "farm" the same city. Keep attacking every turn, then raid or encamp in between. Can also do with multiple armies on multiple towns.

Malus is nearby when you move north against Archaon / Ursus etc.
He's talking about RoC.

Seems you are right.

Why would anyone do that?

Some of us like to play RoC.

I like RoC more. More structure, smaller map, more achievable campaign victories. I play IE too, but if the LL I want to play is in RoC, I usually play that. It was the same with Vortex in WH2.

Only the base game lords have the soul race campaign.

All of the DLC races have different objectives and stories.

The smaller more focused map is a different experience that can be fun every few campaigns.
