Wow.. And some 'people' like to act confused when I use the word problematic.
I feel like worlds like this are as close as we can get to what must have been going through the mind of someone who stumbled on a hamlet burned to the ground with body parts everywhere, surely wondering what kind of monstrosity from deep within the woods could have done such a thing, not wanting to imagine it was people.
Not for everyone to be sure but no worse then any True Crime podcast which are also popular because they hit that primal fear of what goes bump in the night.
Believing that CA and GW started out with "fat woman" as a concept for a new character is such an insane take that strongly suggests a lack of understanding for how creative work is actually done
or your just being obtuse
Classical Warhammer-esque subversion of tropes.
Take your bad takes to any US college, they will love you there.
There isn't an issue with her lore or who she is. That's fine, I doubt many have a problem with it based on what you said.
If you contextualize that in two ways, you will learn the truth, but then again people such as yourself who push this idiotic narrative can barely think past surface level.
First is the fact that the Vampire Coast overall is one of the least-played in the game. I wouldn't be surprised if they were THE least popular among all.
Second is the fact that Clyostra's faction is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. One of the weakest in the game and there's nothing interesting gameplay-wise going on with The Drowned.
I guarantee you that if those were to change and if they updated the VC factions with more interesting mechanics, her popularity would rise immensely. It has nothing to do with identity or whatever you spew on - TWWH3 is a huge game, and since there are so many better options to choose from, it's not a surprise that people go for those that are actually fun to play.
