Total War: WARHAMMER III

İstatistiklere Bak:
More unique female lords
The devs have been doing a wayyy better job recently of including more female characters such as Valkia, Mother Ostankya, and now Elspeth. It's cool that Elspeth has become the most popular among the three new lords too with 723 Steam reviews compared to 645 and 537 for the other ones.

But like, all of the female characters are basically just humans or elves, it's boring and a bit problematic. Since Orcs are genderless why can't they have a feminine lord? Or a Dwarf female lord? I remember people explaining it could be possible. Could we see more demon lords like Valkia? Can we have a Vampire lord that isn't just Vlad's wife (like what is even the point of her..)? How about literally just adding Neferata?

What other actually unique female character could they add that isn't just another boring human or elf?

Orcs simply dont evolve or grow in a femenine way. It's pointless for them, they only need size muscle and teeth. that's why every single orc looks pretty identical if they were stripped down to their birthday suit.

Female dwarfs are very few in number, thats why they dont go to battle in the first place. They are guarded fiercely and it would be insanity for the dwarfs to send one to lead an army. and there are only one prominent female warrior from what i can remember, but she hardly has any lore sorrounding her, other than shes the wife of a named dwarf. I dont remember who.

Skaven females are broodmothers. Big blobs of meat whos constantly giving birth to more rats. Wouldn't really work.

people have been wanting nefarata for years. We'll probably get her one day.

Lizardmen similar to the orcs, just dont evolve that way. They all have a masculine build since they dont reproduce the normal way and is solely meant to exist for battle.

Beastmen females are pretty much just breeding holes. If they all are pregant, they kidnap humans instead, thats how we get Ungors. (Ew).

our best bet for female lords would be Humans or Demonic entities.
The masque for Slannesh would be a pretty good bet. Either as lord or hero.
The dwarfs should have a unit that is the equivalent of the Onna Bushi from Total War: Shogun 2 (A high tier female infantry unit that is only in their city garrison) as that is part of their lore

It stated that there were no females in Beastmen society so they had to kidnap and sexually assault human women when they raided villages to have babies of their own.

Wow.. And some 'people' like to act confused when I use the word problematic.
who cares how about make good heroes

I mean it's a very dark universe, based in part on other stories who themselves take from mythologies and histories that reflect the absolute horrors people had to face or try to explain without context.

I feel like worlds like this are as close as we can get to what must have been going through the mind of someone who stumbled on a hamlet burned to the ground with body parts everywhere, surely wondering what kind of monstrosity from deep within the woods could have done such a thing, not wanting to imagine it was people.

Not for everyone to be sure but no worse then any True Crime podcast which are also popular because they hit that primal fear of what goes bump in the night.
Majr female characters and units in Warhammer would be nothing new to Warhammer Fantasy. The illustrations in the first edition Warhammer Fantasy rule books and army lists in the early 80s showed female as well as male characters. There were pre-slotta citadel female miniatures of every character class. There were whole units of female witch elves. There were dwarf shieldmaiden figures. Second edition bestiary and army lists referred to goblin females and children. Ditto for second edition and the scenario sets for it. Terror of the Lichemaster and The Magnificent Sven both included female characters of more than one race. And Warhammer lore has been changing all the time from one edition to the next.

Less Wokeism.

Go play some Disney/Marvel trash.
this
they tried already: Cylostra Direfin, a CA original. a fat woman and least popular LL even among female/left/LGBT players, who she was made to appeal to.

Erm no, she wasn't made to appeal any specific group. She is just a boring character design for a LL.

Believing that CA and GW started out with "fat woman" as a concept for a new character is such an insane take that strongly suggests a lack of understanding for how creative work is actually done

Fat opera woman is a cultural staple. "It ain't over till the fat lady sings", but this time when she does, you become her undead audience slave, so it is never over.

Classical Warhammer-esque subversion of tropes.

There isn't an issue with her lore or who she is. That's fine, I doubt many have a problem with it based on what you said.

If you contextualize that in two ways, you will learn the truth, but then again people such as yourself who push this idiotic narrative can barely think past surface level.

First is the fact that the Vampire Coast overall is one of the least-played in the game. I wouldn't be surprised if they were THE least popular among all.

Second is the fact that Clyostra's faction is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. One of the weakest in the game and there's nothing interesting gameplay-wise going on with The Drowned.

I guarantee you that if those were to change and if they updated the VC factions with more interesting mechanics, her popularity would rise immensely. It has nothing to do with identity or whatever you spew on - TWWH3 is a huge game, and since there are so many better options to choose from, it's not a surprise that people go for those that are actually fun to play.
