I've fresh Skarbrand campaign from this patch with vassalized Festus and he doesn't give me any money despite having level four money building in Brass Keep and running two decimated armies that don't even cost him 2500 in upkeep.
because i have this as slaanesh/n'kari and i have zero vassals - i killed the only one i had off and soon after that, it started to show me some really high random weird negative income named "vassal income" minus 10k, <turn 50
so yeah...
and it didn't get automatically fixed by next turn or anything sofar. it randomly increases every time i moved someone, did cost me yet attrition due to bankruptcy
hence the @Full_House, you're plainly wrong there. i wiped the faction within two turns, and the issues just started that very turn i did. every minor movement was like -500 income per turn. which on legendary where u have anyways higher costs is annoying
also there's another dev post so it clearly is a bug - no mechanic... stop spreading wrong infos thanks.
CA and any tester if your read this do the following test :
Play archaon, take the major settlement nearby, it will give you a norscan vassal, ends your vassalage with him and switch stances constantly with archaon (normal to encampement, encampement to normal and so on) and this will destroy your income
Or the norscan need to die for the bug to occur, either one
At least they're patching the game rather than the previous situation where they didn't patch it for nearly a year at a time.
I didn't wanna give up the save, so I just figured "challenge accepted" and kept going, limiting my stance changing. Eventually took back my fortress and the vassal, and vassal income went back to normal, plus no more losing income from stance changing.
So I guess having former vassals on the map is screwing something up? Curious what would've happened if I wiped them out instead of re-vassalizing.
