Broken Hound?

I completed the quest to recruit the hound... built the trophy hall and he shows up next to my Lord... but there's no option to embed him into the lords army(the army is not full of 20 units) and there's a little text that says 'this hero cannot be embedded into an army) and he doesn't operate like a normal hero solo (cant assassinate other heros or block armies) What am I missing?

yep i started a new game after update and have same issue the hound seems useless.

I have the same bug, for me the dog does not even have any skill points so that is something

Got the same problem OP. And no clue if that's the design, but he does not seem to have a skill tree either..

I just unlocked Karanac and he works fine, I did restart my computer after the update, maybe try that?

Is anyone running mods? I've heard atleast the no skill problem is mod related

Yeah it's a mod related problem. There's one with somebody complaining about this online and who posted screenshots, but his screenshots betrayed his mod use. A friend of mine ran into this problem but he too was using mods. He figured that it was a glitch with mods that affect skill trees that either aren't modded in properly or get overwritten.

Of course they run a sh*tton of mods, why wouldn't thy complain in the first place?

Just started up a vanilla Valkia campaign and he works fine.
