Soul Grinder of Tzeentch
It doesnt need to be a hilariously strong artillery piece AND an amazing melee combatant AND get the regenerating "HP" of barrier AND be faster than/as fast as slower cav like chaos knights. Personally id reccomend nerfing its speed or its melee capability, as it can very easily snipe out lords, heros, multiple units of cav, or remove artillery with the ammo it has.

Obviously still keep it with decent melee stats and speed, but it shouldnt be outrunning horses.

alright those changes uh
Certainly exist but arent much considering that doesnt change what it does to lords heros and artillery for the most part

It's a top tier unit, and while it is strong, it is in no way as broken as some of the new stuff..
And do keep in mind it has a fairly limited ammo pool.
But sure drop it like 5 speed or so..

it just shouldnt be faster then heavy cav is all im saying. Needs to be SOME way to kill it that isnt chasing it around with 3 units of skirmish cav half the match which it dodges so often that it doesnt take any real damage because of its barrier.

If it's dodging it aint dealing dmg. It's very expensive, if you spend fewer resources on getting it to run around, it's a net gain..

Its ranged attack are homing missiles though. Nothing like artillery.

They often seem to hit the ground in front of the Soulgrinder before homing in on the target.

Ive used them to great effect to snipe out artillery, as they home in on the actual guns. single entity artillery like chaos dwarf or lizardmen are even more screwed.
Even with the lower max entity pierce they are still going to annihilate calvalry, just instead of wiping 3-4 units they wipe 1-2
