How do you beat tallymen of pestilence in late game battles?
I alays come up against tallyemn of nurgle late in the game (around turn 100 or later) and they always have multiple armies full of various demons of nurgle, with four moving together at once. How can you beat them once they're that strong?

Have you tried using Lightning Strike, the ability that allows you to fight 4 armies, 1 at a time?

Slow, massive nurgle armies are very fun target practice for artillery and thunderbarges.

I do find Nurgle to be one of the most difficult opponents lategame. Nothing compared to Kislev of course but definetly incredibly strong. Without any faction specifics though there isn't any real help to be offered. I will say be careful of how many peices you bring that need to be protected, they are very good at just drowning the map in tanky meat meaning you need a pretty heavy duty and wide line to protect your more fragile assets.

Border Princes using the Southern Realms mod. I have mortars identical to empire ones and tortoise tanks similar to steam tanks ( plus one Regiment of renown one with magical attacks and a triple shot). Mixture of good lance armed knights, cavalry, ror greatswords, Melee and bow kossars with AP and 85 armour, elite spearmen called shield bearers. And some allied units including dwarf hammerers and Brettonian hippogryph knights. A mercenary captain ( hero with replenish troops) in each army. A wizard in each ( most of them celestial). And a priest of myrmydis in each ( mostly give leadership bonuses but have some active abilities including giving allies in range magic attacks for 20 seconds or so). Oh and one sisters of myrmydia mod unit pet army. Spear armed. Not as good base stats as elite spearmen, but they have an active bility that gives enemy units in range minus 16 morale .

The melee characters in my main army each have an item that causes terror so they're immune to it (can buy some items for a lot of gold with the Southern Realms mod). And I have groups of four armies for battles since I also have a mod turning off supply lines so the AI have lots of armies too

Ally with dwarves, recruit lots of flamethrowers.

As always, ambush, and lightning strike are your friend.
