The dog in question (and other fleshhounds of Khorne) don't... have fur (they look more like some sort of scaly reptile then canines tbh :P).

Admittedly there are also Chaos Warhounds of Khorne that does have some fur.

It's broken? I got the chainsword and I just put that boring ass campaign in the dumpster yesterday after short victory. Is there some odd situation that causes it to not work?

Have you forgotten the Norsca treatment? CA will spend time and money on creating fake opera singers to sell you(a character no one plays btw) but won't even fix paid DLC for years.

MadArtillery's comment that you replied to was saying that they got it just fine. One person saying it works and one person saying it's broken.

Are you sure that this isn't just a problem on your end? Mods, verify game files, old save new patch etc etc.
