Dragon's Fang weapon for Yuan Bo, huh?

I'm confused by his legendary weapon. It says it gives him an 8% attack buff, some control - and the ability Executioner. But doesn't he already have this ability anyway?

Also, it gives a big 50% damage bonus when you use it actively (I think) but the info card says "a unit with Executioner executes enemies below 20% health"... which I guess is instantaneous. If this operates differently than his ability to execute, I'm not able to guess. Is it meant to give to a character without Executioner?

I haven't used the weapon I'm just trying to decide if it's worth going after at all. The description isn't giving me a lot of certainty on how it works.

They took away Yuan Bo starting with Executioner as a passive ability, you can get it back either via the sword or the "Executioner" skill at the end of his Yellow tree. This ability kills any model Yuan Bo damages that is under 20% health

This is separate to his "The Emperor's Executioner" which will do big damage and instantly kill a lord/hero under 20% health.

Lol thankyou but I am so confused.. my Yuan Bo has an executing skill that kills heroes at 20%, it's an active skill that zaps them. So what's this other ability plus whatever ability the sword has... is there 3 execution abilities..?

The ability that you start with can only be used on lords/heroes, it does a big chunk of damage and if the target is below 20% it will instantly kill them.

The ability you get from the sword or from his skill tree causes Yuan Bo to instantly kill any unit model, i.e infantry, cavalry, monsters etc, as long as they are below 20% that he hits whether it is with his sword or magic.

Oh wow, something to keep in mind to polish off those regenerating monsters who keep coming back like hydras. Neat.
