Tzeench Centigors opinions?
hi all, tzeench new units seem kind of a mixed bad for me as some are impressive or even too strong while i struggle to find the design philosophy of centigor tzeench.

GW centigor are already a bad unit at 900 with non-existent resilience asyde from speed and laughable 22 MA/MD, and now you can get a variant which basically only have arcane charge and magical attacks for 150 points more?

is it just me or this unit is useless for both Tzeench and BM alike?

Pretty unhelpful. You spend ages moaning about toxicity in other threads and respond like that to genuine discussions.

In respect of OP, I think it is to fill the gap of chaos warhounds which Tzeench doesn't have and to give them a relatively cheap, fast flanking force.

Personally, I don't really think they're necessary for Tzeench and are a little bit useless for the cost (warhounds are cheaper) but better than nothing. At the very least, it will add more variety to AI armies.

For your own sake, don't try to teach pollo self-awareness. He's an extremely recalcitrant student.

They are decent if you cast Vortex spells on top of them, from your Caster Lord/Hero, while they ram into the enemy, and force them to take the whole spell.

Just like teh Tzaangors, tehy are noty supposed to be good by themselves, they are caster support.
Tzanngors are caster tarpits, Tzentigors are caster snares.
Just nuke them along with whatever they are holding in place.

but...i don't pay 1050 for a unit to suicide into a spell, thats' totally nonsense sorry

my point is that they are far too expensive for what they offer to you, and their passive is not steroids like power, it's a meager percentage increase over the course of battle but hardly worth 150 points more than the base unit, which already is too expensive for its stats

Yeah they do, altough a small one, but it's really worth training for 1k+ when you can almost get 3 units of hounds? I don't think so...

They suffer falso from the state of the base unit also, which is already not stellar with 22 in their combat skills

I think they just tossed them in to have more affiliated chaosy gors. Would be cool if they had chaosy orges.
Yeah I find them attractive, the concept of buff equestrian men has always been one of my favorite aspects of fantasy. Now when I'm playing Tzeentch I'll finally have something to watch during battle

Gotta admit that i haven't recruited them yet in my new Changeling campaign. Perhaps it makes more sense with Kairos, because you're actually gated with settlement levels. No idea if/how WoC can access them, probably also more likely to use them.

Also... Changebringers. Woot! These are insane.

well not doubting their aesthetic, they are as hot as every other beast-men hybrid i agree, i'm doubting their actual usefulness in battle compared to their cost
