Wood elf DLC?
I'll be honest I don't know a lot about Warhammer lore or even current Total War notices/news. But I'd love to see new wood elf DLC, they're my favorite race and although I mainly play MP I just feel like the faction isn't very well rounded. A rework for their Cav would be a nice addition as well since majority of their cav just feel all around weak for what's supposed to be a shooting and scooting style of faction. Maybe I have bias but it just feels like as a faction they've just kinda gotten left in the dust. Lemme know what you think and if I'm totally off base on this one.

Be amazed, then.
He knows even less about History.

He believes the Bronze Age ended in 300 BC.

Already happened: Twisted and the Twilight. It even gave you an extra character if you had the previous DLC for the same race, from Game 1.

The issue here is, there is basically nothing to add, except characters, and an irrelevant Lore of Magic.
Are you talking about drycha? She’s tied exclusively to the original WE dlc. You don’t need twisted or even both of them for her, just the original.
Think he's probably referring Ariel even though she's an LH
Elitewrecker PT Feb 23, 2024 @ 11:46am
But Ariel is independent of the OG DLC. There isn't any character that requires both DLCs.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, they also have to be approved by Games workshop, who are particularly being careful about what can be included as they release Old world. A lot of the suggestions in here are from older editions, and although we do get some old edition content occasionally, GW are much tighter on this and made clear we are focused on content from the Karl Franz era. I'm not the most clued up on the lore but I'm pretty sure we have covered most if not all wood elf units in this time period. (Happy to be proven wrong though!)
Well that depends on how much of their roster and what characters from Warhammer Fantasy they have remaining. Like dwarfs for instance, have thunderbarges, goblin hewers and some slayer types left and a couple characters that could serve as LLs or LHs, and that's not dipping into Forgeworld or "lore only" stuff, which CA also tends to take inspiration from. Not sure what Wood Elves have left though, though I think they may have at least plausible LL left.

Ah didn't realize that.

I was, indeed, speaking about Drycha.
I thought you needed both DLCs to get her.

I'll imagine they'll be getting one soon.

Nah. I don't think so.

- Wood Elves had their DLC in late Warhammer 2, there are still Races which had no DLC since early Warhammer 1, like the Vampire Counts or Tomb Kings which had none.
- Wood Elves Race is pretty much done. There are only few, boring units to add like a generic Chariot and a generic Wood Elf Lord with a Hawk.
- CA has their hands full with highly requested DLCs like Nagash, Dogs of War or Thanquol.

They took 5+ months for an Update on Shadows of Change. The next DLC doesn't contain Elves and is 2+ months away. If the DLC after does indeed contain Elves it is maybe 3-4 months after that?
Which would already make it 5-6 months until the next Elf DLC. Considering they took 5+ months to update SoC and that new DLC will have to match the amount of content it's likely they will need more time between DLC than before which would make it 7... 8... 9... months before new Elf content.

And this is if the Slaanesh DLC actually contains Elves at all.

Moulder? Very fast campaign?

Veresh, you've never played game 3. Moulder is one of the slowest and worst campaigns possible. You're surrounded by Kislev, Chaos warriors and Drycha.
if you ever played game 3, you'd realize that Kislev is quite possibly the strongest faction in battles.

At the same time, the Beastmen have the fastest campaign in the game and the simplest, since they received completely broken mechanics and their popularity rating is still small
The fastest would be Eltharion and beating the game at turn 10 without exploits.

He does not even own game 3 I believe.

He can't buy it anyway, the game isn't sold in Russia.

I can ask my friends to buy it for me as a gift, but at this stage there is no content in Game 3 that would interest most fans. Only when the main content appears in it will people start buying game 3 (1-2 million) as was the case with game 2 (5-10 million)

Lol, what a loser. Does not own the game, does not read the books, does not know the lore. Yet tries and talks about it like he knows what he is saying, lol. All he knows is his crappy elf erotica teen fanfiction.

Ok we need to QURANTINE THE FORUMS! QUICK!

The Eldy WAAAGH and Eonir thread is spreading-
Lokaror Feb 23, 2024 @ 5:15pm
We don't need thanquol. I liked him in gotrek and felix like everyone else but frankly skaven have had more than enough love and pretty much everyone but them and lizardmen could use work more than another roster of 12 varieties of rats.
