Total War: WARHAMMER III
High Elf Ships and Aislinn DLC
Where should Aislinn be? Should he start in the Elven colonies near Kingdoms of In / Kuresh, or should he be in his lore spot of Cothique and near Norsca, patrolling against Be'lakor and Norsca?
Additionally, how shall the Dragonships be implemented? We know there aren't many of them, as High Elves do field smaller ships which aren't like Black Arks. Yet HIgh Elven navy should absolutely be considered. After all, High Elves have better naval power than the Dark Elves.

Kinda like Alith Anar but naval. Ruler of Cothique.
i think he should be more in the east, maybe having his home turf at the tower of the Sun but starting away from it, and having a campaign centred around troubles caused by Morslieb (we could have had Alarielle getting that if CA would have been more daring with their first WH2 lord pack, but unfortunately not) and the need to stabilise Morslieb through the tower of the Sun rituals.

That would make him start relatively "close"(counting the purple sea lane to get there) of Fellheart, and of a pontential Yin Yin addition for Cathay, as the 3 big non vampire coast fleet admirals.

Alternatively, starting in Lustria's coast would be relatively fine. Maybe north of Rakarth or something, relatively close of several sea lanes.

They could also go for a more lore related location, with his campaigns in Norsca in particular making him start somwhere on the coast around there; maybe not too far of Marienburg, just in case the player want to burn it again.

Still, while a more lore friendly location wouldn't be bad, I would still prefer him to start relatively close of sea lanes to open sea related choices.

Aislinn is the chief admiral ("Sea Lord") of the High Elf fleet. He's basically warhammer's Admiral Nelson. A noble in command of the strongest sea force in the world, with an insane tactical talent to back it up.

His campaign and bonuses will probably be heavily sea centric, port related, and elven marine force related (sea guards, sea patrol, seahelm, skycutter, potentially some minor sea elves forces that are often hired on the High Elf ships, etc.).

It's too early to think about Aislinn, they've not even released Eldyra yet.
Aislinn would be good, simply because being the sea lord means their start location is completely open. And where should we be getting a new Helf faction? Somewhere down by the Gates of Calith or Tor Elithis. Somewhere nowhere near Ulthuan.

Pretty sure both of these we're added with the Legendary Characters mod or Mixu's legendary lords. Not really anyone's fault people don't use mods, but their own.
