I guess it also depends on whether they make Ind a Chaos-aligned faction as well, if they add them that is and if they make Monkey an Ind character rather than Cathayan one.
We'll see anyway.
Skinks - monkeys/baboons
Saurus - Chimps/apes
Kroxigor - Gorilla
Slann - Orangutans
A chaotic good more precisely if we go by the alignment charts. Does that mean he has to be chaos aligned? not necessarily
"Chaos" in Warhammer isn't the same as the "chaotic" alignment. It's more akin to literal primordial chaos (à la Greek mythology) plus objective evil.
The Monkey King could simply be a character with his own motivations the same way that Arkhan is hated by the other Tomb Kings, thus making him an enemy to Cathay.
...Knowing GW though, they'd probably cheap out and make him chaos-aligned anyway, because designing 3-dimensional characters (or even races: just look at Norsca) is apparently too hawd for them these days...
Also, based on the lore I've seen so far the monkey king is very much not aligned with chaos. He sounds like a bit of a ♥♥♥♥, but he's not a servant of any of the chaos gods.
Definitely wouldn't align with Chaos.
For all we know Ind could be a nation of humanoid animals that were created by and serve pastiches of the Hindu gods rather than Chaos and they are on a crusade against it, or they could just be a Mughal Empire of humans ruled by said Hindu and in which their most devout and holiest of warriors are transformed into animal people such as tigermen and maybe even elephantmen and monkeymen.
