Does The Changeling Always Spawn Relative To The Player?

This is my second campaign where the dude just so happens to be on top of my Kingdom right in the beginning. Does this happen for everyone?

Pretty sure he has a fixed starting point. Talabheim I think.

Oh, OK. That makes sense because I am playing Sylvania. I just noticed that playing Kislev he was on top of me at some point in Realms of Chaos, and then again playing Immortal Empires. It made me think it's fixed to the player.

If you start around Averland the Changeling will always spawn near you, yes

In The Realms of Chaos he starts near Dietershafen (Nordland).

In Immortal Empires he starts near Flensburg (Stirland).

In IE, he spawns on the western edge of the Niedling region

He starts with a Cult in Flensburg

he doesnt start with a cult, but hes basically guarenteed to make one

You know i'd actual bother to make a screenshot, but this is the easiest thing to test

1. buy the DLC
2. start a Changeling campaign in IE

Yes he does, atleast in IE. Just played his campaign.
