I just don't understand why these people don't realize they have become what they are trying to erase.

They should have renamed Guderian as Juderian instead of removing it, a lot of people will forget it and not feed the trolls anymore.

CA is ok with: Heinrich Kemmler, Helman Ghorst, Von Carstein etc. And there's far worse racial allegories i shall not even mention here; but Guderian is a no no.

You're oppressing the human vocabulary. If you need a more solid view of the "Who" that is being oppressed. Which means everyone.


Scenario:

You're walking down the street and you pass a store. There is an employee with a name tag on. It says Guderian.

Are you pre-judging this person based on their name?

There is a lot of moral grandstanding. I don't think it matters what CA decide to put in their game. The problem becomes the virtue signalling for the wrong reasons.

I do take issue with banning words or names because of political or any other reason and making a public high five with it. If they quietly removed it as inappropriate to what ever they are doing, totally fine.

It gets even worse. According to this ideology, if that person is a descendant of that WW2 era German general, they must be held responsible for their ancestor's crimes and be forced to pay reparations & have their careers ended and the entire society must shun them.
