Why is Grimgor so weak?
CA buffed him a lot at the end of WH2, but deh didn’t carry dos buffs over to WH3. :theDoge:

He gets staggered by a stiff breeze, and a single unit of tier 1 ogre infantry can beat him to deff without much effort.

Yes, I see where you are coming from.

But those twists aren't really what I am looking at, I tend to focus on their battle descriptions, and how their gear works, involved with the battle.

Grimgor had to die by virtue of Archaon hitting the panic button.. IT sucks, but that is a "gear ability" for combat and that's the way it is, despite Grimgor as my favorite.

Hence, "The END times." Plot required every thing to die.
No, Grimgor had to lose because GW wanted Archaon to win, it's that simple. If GW had decided that Archaon should lose, than nothing would have kept him from losing and any means he'd have to avert a defeat would have turned out ineffective. Just like how it happened in Storm of Chaos because GW was obligated by popular vote to make Grimgor the winner in that case.
Something that has no ability to lose is boring. What was there anything to expand on story-wise?

If he had defeated Archaon.. I don't think there's much else to it, except an on-going battle of Chaos vs Order.. It just wouldn't make sense to keep the story open-ended. The Grim fantasy is left better dead.

I think ending it the way GW did, was saying, "Ok,there's nothing left to this, kill it". Then they just simply moved on.

Though there's quite a bit of content before The End times.

Defeating Archaon would have been meaningless anyway because it was the Old One device under Middenheim that doomed the world. In fact, Archaon did precious little himself during End Times. The Glottkin, Festus and the Skaven did the bulk of the work.

Yeah.. Eac had the part of the killing and together: All as a whole.

Though I had no idea Festus was a major factor, like Glottkin and Skaven.
Good I hate this overrated idiot hehe
