You may also want to keep your Battle difficulty on normal (or lower if that initially feels to hard) bc above that the AI gets stat boni.
btw know that Campaign difficulty is not the same thing - difficulty is in this game split between the strategic layer and the rts layer.
If you want to learn a lot about the games battle mechanics you could watch "Legend of Total War"'s saving desaster battle/campaign series - i mean you learn a lot of cheese too that way what can get you rolling but will make the (normal) battles booring if you keep cheesing the game after you learned the basics ... but thats ofc entirely your choice - if that floats your boat so be it;)
So we get better with time spent in the game?
Patience. Plan your moves & read about units strenghts & weaknesses. The game is turn-based so you have all the time you need along with pause in battle.
Turn on Guard Mode.
Turn off Skirmish Mode.
For Kislev advice depends on your army.
If you're going mostly Kossars (which is quite solid) then you can use what's called a checkerboard formation. Looks something like
....X....X....X....
X.....X....X.....X
....X....X....X....
X.....X....X.....X
Which allows back troops to be shooting constantly.
If you're using Armored Kossars or Tzar Guard you can make a defensive line up front with Kossars behind them shooting.
Outside of the tutorial, try to focus on having at least one (preferably two) Patriarchs in each army along with a Frost Maiden. The Patriarchs help the army heal faster and provide buffs, the Frost Maidens provide magic that's extremely useful.
Besides that I'd probably need some more specific information about what you're struggling with.
Your formatting doesn't seem to work on the PC client
first group your units (you can use alt 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) when you press 1 you can select a bunch of units also the camera automatic go to it.
put armor front, sounds more easy then it really is. but so have chock points (try add archers from the sides (for maximum damage) back is even better but that's optimal
start with basic units till you understand the game more (1 unit monsters are cool and fight awsome but they are weak) that include dragons and so on
use magic, obvious learn to use at least to do the damage spells
use fighter lords, keep those magic guys away of battle.
if a enemy unit routes keep a unit on it (prefer a fast unit like hounds, Calvary . other they regain moral.

Here is his playlist. Hes got two types of videos, campaign and battle. Campaign explains the faction and how they work on the campaign world map, whereas his Battle guides go over the individual units that faction has, and how to use them.

I loved his Why you suck at Tzeentch vid as the beginning of Kairos' campaign is a pain, but i love Tzeentch and really wanted to play him. Now im ruling the world.
He does have his own little guides that are overviews of campaigns, usually max ten minutes long.
