It isnt that i hate fighting them(i love all factions) it is just anoyance how they run away and return.
It is very skaven like and i love it.
But out of all the enemies i fight skaven i am the most likely to autoresolve.
Just so i wont spend 30 min hunting down fleeing enemies.
A common example of CA making DLC stuff OP on purpose.
lizardmen are probably the only faction the AI is semi capable with, simply because Lizardmen are so braindead easy to play
Same with lizardmen if they have a good army.
Dwarves because they have insane morale, and some units like Slayers that the AI loves to spam that literally can't be broken. At that point it's not even really tactics is it, like there isn't really much point in outmaneuvering and it comes down to brute force. Plus they have annoyingly long range and fast loading ranged uniits and artillery.
Not having cavalry could be a drawback, except, ngl, cavalry in this game kinda sucks for anything more than harassing archers and artillery, or surrounding an enemy force, which as stated before, is almost meaningless against dwarves especially Slayers.
Lizardmen idk if it's just me but they are just annoying, they always declare war, the flying lizardmen is annoying to deal with and literally has flying artillery basically. Plus all their units have decent armor and tend to be strong.
Skaven... it's a hit or miss sometimes they are easy to deal with, other times they somehow destroy entire units with spells or some ♥♥♥♥ despite being behind walls.
Beastmen and Alith Anar for the same reason.
Otherwise... I guess I don't really enjoy the one man army LLs? It's irritating when my midgame stack crunches their army and then runs out of ammo trying to kill the hyperpowered unbreakable regenerating guy with resistances through the roof
bzzztttzzzz
I dont dislike playing vs them but i cant really see any weaknesses they have.
It depends what faction you play, in that case, I play Wood elves, I use drychas in divided formation to reduce damages from blunderbuss fire before to charge against the workers, then I use cavalry to disrupt missile infantry and artillery, also waystalkers are excellent against infantry with high armor and melee cavalry with missile cavalry assistance against the centaurs.
You need more practice, it's the same reason against warrior of chaos with missile infantry and better artillery.
But I think Chaos Dwarves have actually surpassed them, simply due to their obnoxious number of battle abilities. When I fight Chaos Dwarves, I don't even feel like I'm playing a strategy game. I feel like I'm fighting a raid boss in an MMORPG. Every few seconds targeting reticles go down on my units, and if any of them are half a second slow to move they are instantly disintegrated. I know from playing them that these abilities have a cooldown and a limited number of uses, but it sure doesn't feel like it when you're playing against them.
