The long VC states:
Control all provinces of the Empire either by direct ownership or through Vassals and Military Allies.
Military alliances do count towards their long victory
I'm speaking about the domination victory, which requires occupying, sacking or razing 272 settlements and is the generic victory condition for all races. (or at least the ones I've played so far) Since it's the only victory that actually ends the campaign and gives an achievement, I consider it as the "true ending". Maybe I should have been a bit more clearly, that settlements held by allies should also count towords the goal of holding or sacking 272 settlements. I mean I understand lore-wise that it's the goal of the players faction to become a hegemonial power in the world, but not every race would do this by sheer force.
Really? I thought it was only for the very hard and legendary difficulty achievement. But if it's true these are good news indeed.
