Must have mods?
I wonder if I am missing out on anything.

All I use is the Quest battles auto resolve enabler mod. Jajaja I know I know I am almost a cheater that way... but these battles are hard and I am a newbie at this game xD

I don't have any *must have* mods (there's no big issue that needs addressing via mod so badly that I would accept being unable to play after a big update breaks mod compatibility), but there are two QoL mods I have consistently used in both game 2 and 3:

which adds a toggle during turn resolution to automatically decline the AI's diplomatic offers (mostly so I can alt-tab and not come back 2 minutes later to a pending offer holding up the turn), and https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2903267289 to configure the camera settings with one click.

its not essential
but since the ai rarely wants to trade anyway, this gives a reason to build the resource buildings instead of just going for the normal gold one

This one looks cool, making almost useless buildings useful.

Victory conditions overhaul, skip starting intros, auto resolve quest battles, and ogrehaul if you have the ogre kingdoms DLC, are the only must-haves in my book

Yeah, Skip Intros is pretty necessary, but they may not bother you as much as they do me.

CT Trait Manager is dope if you don't wanna play the game of farming traits, keeping Lord's alive, farming traits, killing allies for trying to wipe your farm, and farming traits. You can just play the game normally....

It lets you remove traits too. So that's a boobie.

Save friendly too so your game shouldn't crash from it.

Yes such new campaigns have a sweetspot in my heart.

1- Ultimate Lighting 2.0 (significant improvements to lighting effects and weather on the battlefield, no framerate impact).
2- Chaos invasion mod + chaos invasion mod english translate (a real and hardcore endgame scenario, like the end of times)
3- Better camera mod (more visual possibilities in battle)
4- Improved campain camera (less fog and better angle, better zoom + and -)
5- DIsable startup splash screen intro (good time-saving at launch)
