we probably would be playing Thrones of Decay right now, and anticipating the new Slaanesh LL in the next Road Map release date.
But people wanted to play Politics - wanted to protest, thinking they're actually achieving a difference from opression like it's the 70's. Well, now we got delays. Who knows when the Slaanesh LL will be released, or even Khorne. Fr*ckin' JUNE? LOL
Kharma's a b*tch.
It's not like there aren't loads of factions to play in the meantime.
Though, yes, a lot of the loudest folk were just using the situation as an excuse to be recreationally outraged or push their own preferred narrative.
You can thank those protesters for having added content to both Dlcs and a better patching process.
If they followed your advice we would probably have Throne of Decay with 3 new units in total and a 60 bucks price, but yeah it would have been already released, I give you that.
However everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so you are absolutely
free to say thank you to the developer or support CA with a donation.
The delay wasn't caused by "people", it was caused by CA's mismanagement in the first place.
I know it is easier to blame the community instead of the company you love but it is very disingenuos.
