Kislev unlock Boris

I want to unlock Boris legendary lord. I understand you have to control for 10 turns Kislev, Praag and Erengard. However I cannnot declare war to Ortodoxy faction to capture Erengard?? What do I do here, do I need to make alliance with Ortodoxy instead? Also, do I capture Praag controlled by Ropsmen faction or do I need to make an alliance with them too?

so if i undertand i just need to load a ROC campaign as any kislev faction and tadaa boris is unlocked?

You need to control all three cities directly and then the Quest Battle triggers. Once you beat it, you get Boris Usis for general play, I don't think the choice in the dilemma matters all that much, all you need to do is win.

As for the Orthodoxy if you can't declare war on them just try and win the supporters race or hope an "unfortunate accident" happens and some other, enemy faction captures Erengard. Don't know how they got it anyway, the Orthodoxy doesn't start with any of the major Kislevite cities, guess you were too slow.

Thank you, I guess I will have to use this mod. Having read mod comments it turns out to be I wouldn't be able to unlock Boris regardless of what I do because I play Immortal Empires campaign with Kislev at the moment.

Thank you, I guess I will have to use this mod. Having read mod comments it turns out to be I wouldn't be able to unlock Boris regardless of what I do because I play Immortal Empires campaign with Kislev at the moment.

You don't need play Kislev in Immortal Empires to unlock Boris. Unless things have changed, you can just play Kislev in Realm of Chaos and get him. And even then all you need to do is play up until you beat his quest battle and that's it; you don't even need to finish the campaign. You just unlock him for everything the moment you finish the quest battle and deal with the dilemma (doesn't even matter which choice you pick).

I'd recommend a Katarin campaign, wiping out Roppmann's Clan, and confederating all the minor Kislev factions as fast as you can.
