How do I reduce load times?
Aside from buying and installing an SSD, what are some ways to reduce load times for battles or just returning back to the campaign map? Does lowering the graphics help?

Thank you.

The most effective solution is opting for an SSD. On a positive note, I noticed that a mid-range external SSD offers a substantial improvement over a standard HDD.

Short version. Not really, ssd is king here.

It 'might' depend on a few things though.
What are your specs and what are your settings?
Do you use mods?

Hello,
I have 16gbs of ram, rtx 2060, amd ryzen 7 2700x.
My setting i think are high-ish, i usually disable the usual stuff like post processing, shadows are medium and at 1080p, also for mods i have SFO Grimhammer Mod and other visual mods. I can disable the other mods but I won't disable SFO, lol it's a must for me.

Well gee, i was putting off having to spend on a SSD for a while now. I guess there's no other way around it.
