Ugly character models in the Hero Panel
I would like to ask if this model appearance is standard ( https://ibb.co/YRGzRG9 ) with graphics quality settings on Ultra? My computer has 16 GB RAM, the graphics card is GF 4070 12 GB RAM. I had a 6 GB card before and the models looked the same. I thought it was the fault of 6 GB of RAM, but now I have 12 and it's the same.

Yep its normal (at least without mods that improve it).

Its a mix of models being made for a older game where the lightning was different (Karl Franz being from game 1, he looks better in that game) and them never being designed for a close up in the UI like that.

Should be noted that they have improved it a tad from how it used to be for the old models in game 3.

P.S Also note that he looks better in the actual game rather then in that UI: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3121581269

Yep, what you are seeing is the "improved" version.

Karl used to have full on purple skin.

The 3D portholes for characters like Karl Franz, Sigvald, Vlad von Carstein, Sisters of Twilight, Belegar, Manfred, etc etc are all so much better in WH1 and/or WH2 than they are in WH3. It's a shame really. I especially dislike how crappy Karl Franz looks in WH3 compared to the previous games and also how pixelated Sigvald's 3D porthole is in WH3 compared to his model in WH1. Character models in WH1 looked really good.

Hopefully CA will eventually fix them in WH3 like they did for Grimgor Ironhide not too long ago.

Thank you for your answer. Are there any mods that improve it?

I haven't tried any mods yet, but if you have an Nvidia graphics card then press Alt and F3 in-game and you can play around with the settings in the Nvidia control panel to make the game look much better by adjusting the lighting, hues, sharpness etc to whatever looks best for you.
