There is no official word on it. It also seems unlikely since it was planned to be a trilogy from the beginning (from before game 1).
A TWWH4 will not happen.
You *might* get a further warhammer game - possibly an 'ultimate collection' or something - but it would not be labeled Warhammer 4, certainly.
the world is complete, all the factions are there
what would you even ask for in a 4th game
Contracts can be changed, so that in itself isn't set in stone for that reason. But it probably won't change, no.
the world is 100% not complete. there are factions within the current map that are not in like ind, araby and others. the warhammer world is BIGGER than our world. we dont have japan which is an obvious one but there is alot going on in the Americas that has not been fleshed out. So we have whole continents not on the map so there is more that can be done.
Not to mention how unstable and clunky the game already is, you wanna duct tape a 4th game to this struggling behemoth? Naa, I´m good.
And if the 4th game were to be set in a different, independent setting or to be a remake, they wouldn´t make it a 4th game, they´d make it game 1 of something different.
It´d give them a chance to start fresh from scratch without the legacy spaghetti code that long projects like this accumulate.
Hey, maybe even give it a new souped up engine!
