$263.30 for everything!?
I just found out about Warhammer 3. Have been a Total War fan for almost 2 decades. Not sure how I slept on this series, but it sounds amazing asides from the negative CA feedback about pricing. When I go onto steam to see if they have any sort of bundle deals, as it sounds like in order to unlock everything, you need Warhammer 1 and 2. Both of which are still priced at $59.99?? Adding all the DLC to the cart is $263.30!? What the ****. CA needs to let go, reduce the price of their older content, offer a bundle discount or at least have an affordable base price that includes EVERYTHING, until then I'll just be another customer not buying the game.

There are a bunch of major/minor problems right now with the TWWH franchise. I would recommend waiting for them to get ironed out before making a major investment in the game.

That said, once things get better (and hopefully they do), this is the type of game that you can (if you're a fan of this type of game) get literally thousands of hours out of. So, yeah, expensive, but worth it (once CA fixes it).

Are you planning on playing all the factions at the same time? I mean they are all in the game anyway you just need to buy it when you actually want to play it.

3 full games, + DLC.

People seem angry that they allow you to use game 1 content in game 3...

There are many threads explaining this.

You don't need to buy any dlc to play this game. All the content is included in game 3. If you like a faction and want to play a dlc Lord you can buy that dlc when you feel like it (preferably on sale).

If you are honestly interested in the series I would recommend picking up game 2 next time it's on sale. If you enjoy it and want more CA has certainly given you plenty of options to purchase more content. I personally felt that while expensive it was decent value until they dropped the Chaos Dwarfs, everything since has been overpriced IMO.

Aye, you get a -lot- of content for that, like an absurd amount, like more content that you´ll ever get through, there´s no point at all in getting that much content in one go, 90% of that content will never be used.
And I know, I know, completion, you want the entire thing, but it -is- just not practical to get all that at once.
So what you do is wait for a sale, there´s a lot of them, especially for the older stuff, someone recommended Game 2, and sure, why not start there?
See if you actually like the game before blowing a fortune on a arkload of lords that will never be tried.
Then you get the stuff you are interested in, when you are interested in it.

$263 worth of content I have gotten 4000 hours and counting. So I've spent roughly 6 cents per hour to play the Warhammer serieris.

You must get 1000 hours out of a $60 game with no additional DLC to get that same kind of value of costing around 6 cents per hour to play the game.

Edit - Also I got a bunch of it on sale, so my cost per hour really was even lower.

Wait for a sale. I picked up all of 1 and 2 for like 130.

But what if I want to have the CHOICE to play any Lord I choose?

Then you choose a lord first and buy access to that lord after.

There are currently 92 Legendary Lords in the game, so there is absolutely no need to buy it all at once since its impossible to use it all at once.

Buy as and when needed.

I feel like this is bait but, there are a lot of sales and third party websites to get keys. Also, I bought everything over-time up to chaos dwarfs as it was good value (I don't have chorfs or soc), but always on sale or from third party.

Just wait for Christmas sale, compare prices to other third party keys, and get Game 3 plus game 1 or 2.

Get game 3 so you get used from the get-go with the unit balance in this game as there were slight changes between game 1, 2 and 3.

Besides, there are a ton of mods to add units if you want.
