The warden and the paunch worth getting?

I was thinking of getting it for the archmages but the reviews seem to say the game was broken bc of it. Is it already fixed? And should i wait for a discounted price?

To my knowledge there is nothing related to this DLC specifically that's broken. I would recommend waiting for a sale as Steam's winter sale should be coming soon.

Winter sale usually starts on the 20th, wait till then. Reviews prob from when dlc came out for wh2.

I have the DLC and have not noticed anything that has broken. Also it is an interesting DLC. The goblin with the massive belly has character too.

I don't think that it added any content that I couldn't live without iirc. I don't play Greenskins (usually), and the Warden (I don't even remember his name) is just like, diet Dark Elves, I guess.

Besides, Steam sale is coming up soon, don't buy anything until then.

As far as I'm aware Warden and the Paunch isn't any more exceptionally buggy than any other Warhammer 2 DLC. I don't think it's the best Lord pack from Warhammer 2, but if you like High Elves and Greenskins and the characters and unit interests you then pick it up. Also the Winter Sale is probably starting just before Christmas so it might be worth holding out so you can get it on discount and maybe pick up some other DLC that interests you.

Not sure what reviews you're referring to but I've had it since it launched and had zero issues.

Eltharion is my favorite Lord in the entire game. Only one thing might be counted as broken and that is you cant recruit his Mistwalker units in the same way as you could in wh2. You must build the buildings to be able to recruit them now. Before they could be recruited the same way you got regiment of renown.

Then i'll wait for the 20th, i'll probably get the Hunter and the Beast and the Grim and the Grave bc i bought tww1 last sale to get the vampire counts and the empire and the units were a let down when i compared what i could get if i got those two dlcs

Oof I'd watch out for those Steam Reviews, at least for now. All Total War games[http//All+Total+War+games] being spammed with negative reviews about that "privilege" nonsense and the price of Shadows of Change, even for games that have nothing to do with TWW3. It's fair to say that the Steam reviews for Total War are currently "broken" and unreliable for the foreseeable future, and they won't be a patch that will magically fix them one day. Don't rely on them for information too much for now.

The issue i ran into with the paunch and other lord with chariots that cause sundering is it can cause desync crashes in coop. Other than that its a very fun ork faction with a focus on goblins and making recipes to buff your units.

Sorry to revive the thread. If I buy this dlc for WH2, does it apply to WH3 also similar to how wh1 and wh2 unlock races in wh3?
