Feels weird not having one these days.
Otherwise, you might go to GPU config to selected app to framecap 60 fps.
Other games have caps for just the menu?
My main menu is running at 160+ FPS and it puts my GPU load at 90% by rendering absolutely nothing. It's just a waste.
Yeah, a lot of them do. Counter-strike for example. It's really not a hard thing to implement
Then lock the global framerate to what the battles or campaign gives (since campaign is usually the more demanding in this case after all)
I think you misunderstand friend, I don't want it matched to my refresh rate. I have a 165hz screen and I don't need the main menu to run my gpu at 90% by providing 160 frames for nothing, I just want it capped separately at a lower FPS.
fun fact i did but the main menu still 144 fps XD , it only goes to 60 fps when i'm in battle or campaign map main menu alwayás goes to 144 fps
+1 to the OP
i use amd chill mode , but seems main menu doesn't get chilled XD .
might be only for amd users though . not the biggest issue for me though . moment i go to campaign map it's capped at 60
