Eh. I played my first ever Vampire Counts campaign as Vlad for the Halloween thing a few months ago on Legendary/Very Hard.
Won a Domination Victory (272 settlements) on turn 128, think I won Long Victory around turn 70-80.
Mostly went mass Grave Guard (Great Weapons) with some support units and Lords/Heroes.
Vampire Lords and Heroes in particular can punch WAY above their autoresolve weight.
hes not amazing
especially since his recovery trait is really just there for the ai
the vanguard trait makes him viable if not good
I can barely stand campaign.
Depends how hard the heart is beating.
