Unable to launch Warhammer 3 past the game launcher

Hello,
I can't seem to launch the game at all. When I click play on the launcher, nothing happens. Task Manager and Steam says the game is running but only uses a very small amount of memory.

I've tried running the game with no mods, deleting the Warhammer 3 and launcher folders in AppData, verifying the game integrity twice, running the game as admin, updating my drivers and refreshing the link in my CA account. Still nothing.

I have also tested to see if it was a Steam issue by launching some other games and they work just fine but what I did notice is the same happens to Warhammer 2 as well.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me fix this. The game was working perfectly fine last night.

UPDATE: I tried again after a few hours and now the game launches fine. Very odd.

Like I said in the post, this was happening without any mods enabled.

im having this problem now.

I wonder if it was because I tried to launch a modded campaign after the last patch?

Because now even after turning the mods off and verifying the integrity it wont work.

I got the same issue here, after the launcher appears i press play or continue campaign and nothing happens. The only two things that have changed are the fact that the new update came out and I bought the champions of chaos dlc. Its kind frustrating ngl

late response but i had the same ♥♥♥♥ after an update,i simply chechked the file integridy on steam properties,it found 8 faulty files,automatically restored them and it works fine

freash install same problem. Verifying files worked. # files failed to validate. Stupid for a fresh install but whatevs

Super easy fix for me:

Right-click game on steam --> Properties --> Installed files --> Verify Integrity of game files.

That's it, solved for me at least.
