Cannot Move in Overworld

Hey, so i just bought this game and i am unable to move in the overworld with rightclick, neither in the first Campaign nor in immortal Campaign. I tried like 5 different Races and i couldnt move with either.
Is that a bug, am i dumb or do i break something every time i launch the game?
No Mods btw. Would appreciate some help, been on this for nearly 1 hr 30 mins now

Edit: Rightclick not working ingame even with different Mouses. Pls Fix its been nearly 3 hrs and i didnt even move a single unit :(

Edit2: Fixed after reinstalling again? Apparently?

Click the buttons on the popups in the upper right of the screen. They disable movement until you click them (to make sure you read them i guess).

As a example, can't move until this button is clicked:

Yes, i clicked that and also the world event notices, still cant move tho. i added a screenshot above of my screen

Intriguing. Your movement range is green, its grey when locked, so that shouldn't be the issue.

Have you tried the common solution to many issues (Verifying your files)? Other then that i can't think of anything.

Yep, i verified, started new campaigns over and over and also skipped turns but even after skipping a couple turns i still couldnt move. and just so you know, i cant move either of the 2 Heroes/Lords .-. I just wanna play da game ;-;

Have you checked the key bindings? maybe move army has become unbound from right click?

checked and everything is as it should be. also resetted the keybinds to default, still aint working

The problem is that your army is within the zone of control of an enemy city.

The only action you can do is to attack the city, either for the purpose of attacking it or retreating out of the radius afterwards.

It's a bit of an edge case which leaves you stranded in that manner, but it happens.

Edit: I suspect I got the two armies in the picture mixed up, so it doesn't actually apply here. However, it's useful to know about the possibility, so I*ll eave it here.

I would recommend saving and reloading the save, or loading the previous autosave.

oh.. so its the Twilight sisters who are bugged? as every time i reloaded i was always standing in that exact same spot... apparently same with dark elves? ill try another faction then. Save/Load doesnt work

And i cannot attack the city cuz i cant move xd

Edit: Even factions other than DLC aint working. cant move them .-.

You right click on where you're supposed to go or attack, right?

Starting to wonder if it's something silly, like your alt key being stuck 'on'. The case I mentioned is something that cannot happen as you start the game.

I do understand it's frustrating, but really, this is not normal.

The only thing that blocks movement like that at start is campaign popups you have to respond to - and only specific important ones. They are at the top left, not right, of the screen (by default), but it's not visible in your screenshot, so either it's not that, or it's not visible - there is always one at the start for all campaigns. Did you click one?

If not, double check UI scale and other settings to see if there's something weird there?

I mean my keyboard is functioning like it should... considering its new and all. i left click my unit and right click where i wanna move and/or the enemy army. I resulted to uuninstalling the game and freshly installing it now as a last resort cuz i couldnt even find aynthing about this issue online ;-;

Edit: I clicked literally every button i could find and that was clickable earlier aaaaand nothing. For that matter, even that tutorial Campaign didnt let me move

did you left click the lord you wanna move before right clicking?

Can you run an experiment: Hire a new lord from your city, end turn, select said lord and try to move him.

Oh and can you try and command the hero next to your army to merge with your army.

This feels like a hardware issue or mod issue, but you say it cannot be that. Are you using an unusual keyboard layout? I/O issues can occur when you use the wrong keyboard software language. IE a Japanese keyboard layout to run a UK keyboard. The same applies to your mouse.

i am using German Keyboard usually. Shouldnt be a Hardware issue.
Using the Hero next to my Armo also didnt work, merging didnt work eithher

Edit: Tried Reinstalling the game, still doesnt work. Also hired new Lord and even that doesnt work.
Please Help i am lost xD
